Are sɛҳuąƖ dreams sinful? While we are awake we can fight and try to opose and dissiduate evil, sɛҳuąƖ and other kind of thoughts but when we are asleep its just a paved way for Satan to get into our minds and we are defenseless. Is it considered a sin?How can we avoid it, even when praying before going to bed sometimes it doesnt help

When you are dreaming you are normally not in control of your will, so of course dreams are not a sin. Even wet dreams are not a sin. It may get muddy when you just awake and are thinking about a sinful dream. I wonder about lucid dreams though. Some people claim they can control their actions in their dreams. Do such people have control of their will in their dreams and if they do can they sin while lucid dreaming?

Feelings do not equal reality.
If you aren't in control of your will (for example when dreaming) there is no possibility of sin.

Yes, even in that half-awake state, I think the litmus test is whether or not you would have consented had you been in your right mind. When you're half-awake, it's often the case that there isn't sufficient reflection or consent of the will. That's why it's important to wake up at a regular time and get right out of bed, instead of laying there for any length of time.

And of course, dwelling on it AFTER you're awake and consenting to it then is a sin.

Pray to St. Giles the Hermit, to intercede for you to have holy dreams... not impure ones.

As long as these dreams aren't caused by you thinking impure thoughts right before bed, I don't think you could be considered culpable.

From the Baltimore Catechism:
Q. 1156. Are bad dreams sinful in themselves?
A. Bad dreams are not sinful in themselves, because we cannot prevent them, but we may make them sinful: 1.(1) By taking pleasure in them when we awake, and 2.(2) By bad reading or immodest looks, thoughts, word or actions before going to sleep; for by any of these things we may make ourselves responsible for the bad dreams.

For men sɛҳuąƖ dreams leading to nocturnal emissions are arguably a natural and healthy release of the buildup of sperm without the sin of self abuse.
