Yes, they get enough money to live and save each month, but my dad spends it all on the farm and paying workers, so they never really "have" anything.
If he stopped spending on the farm and other things NOW, he would have enough each month, but he never stops.
Like I said, they have never done budgeting or tried to cut costs. They don't keep track of anything so they have no idea how much money goes where.

The bolded is the problem in general. At least with my situation, my father-in-law was humble enough to recognize he needed the help and accepted it. Having said that, it is interesting that your father ...who seems to be full of pride otherwise....is totally fine with
his children forking over the money
to support their parents. Where is his pride there? Technically, your help isn't even needed because he has the means. It is
his responsibility to support your mother, not you.
Quite honestly he isn't acting like a man. He is acting like a child. Maybe he needs to be told that.
