  • OK- I have this plaque with a picture of Christ on it. Some of you might be  familiar with the image- it is supposed to be from Veronica's Veil. It is the one where the eyes open and close when you focus on it for a few seconds. I hung it on the wall above the computer to remind my family to behave well on the internet. But --- it kinda creeps me out. The way the eyes change and the overall expression seems to look a tiny bit different at different angles. Not that I think it is possessed or evil or anything. It doesn't "do" anything, just hangs there looking eerie. Does anyone else own a copy of this, and if so, does it bug you? Should I take it down and put a different one up? It hasn't been blessed, so would it be wrong to throw it away? Should I give it to someone else an be responsible for their 'cuмulative attack of the willies'? It's looking at me right now......

PS- it seems to be doing it's job otherwise.

  • I have never seen this picture before but, if it creeps you out why keep it, I dont think that Jesus wants you to have a picture of him that creeps you out.  :furtive:
