Should Catholics apologize to the Jєωιѕн people?

    • We deported their ancestors, consigned them to ghettos, forced them to wear yellow derogatory stars, had them killed, called them devils and whores - and for what? We don't have to agree with them theologically, but can we agree that how Catholic governments treated the Jєωιѕн people was horrendous? This may have cost the world millions of converts.

    1.  Which governments do you consider were Catholic?
    2.  I didn't live during those times so do I have to believe the Jews were totally innocent of anything
         detrimental to the welfare of the nation(s) in question?
    3.  By what authority do we apologize for something we had no part in?  Maybe the people of that time
         wouldn't want us to apologize.  We've got to stop trying to re-write history. (That's the Jews expertise)
    4.  As for converts, I do believe that they will be converted at the second coming of the Christ.
    5.  If we aren't responsible for the wrong done we should  MYOB.

    • Why apologize for the past which we had nothing to do with. It is sinful to exploit The h0Ɩ0cαųst of Christians is ignored and accepted worldwide with very little if any media coverage.    Christians in America are persecuted.  Anti Catholicism is condoned and is accepted.   We want zero apology.
