  • Just wondering your opinion on this.

How is it that someone born in this era, to say, a family in hollywood, was never brought to church, never taught anything about faith, fatima, mass etc was brought up infront of the tv where it tells you that being beautiful and successful is everything, evolution is how we come to be. porn is okay, etc,  Parents put them on the morning after pill at a certain age, divorced remarried parents

= then the child lives a sinful life. Ends up in hell for eternity.

Say Jacinta Marto (fatima seer) brought up 100 years ago in a more innocent age/part of the world. taught all about faith, sin, taken to mass, taught the rosary, went out with sheep (not high school) was shown hell at age 8, died shortly after
= ends up in heaven for eternity.

I'm not implying that Jacinta didn't deserve heaven, she did, she suffered.

I'm merely pointing out that some people have better opportunities than others

    Is this fair?

  • You ask Is this fair?

God knows the circuмstances of every person, and judges them in His wisdom with mercy and justice.
Your hypothetical Hollywood child had the laws of God written on her heart, as does every person. Every person has a sense of what is right and decent. You say a bad upbringing

Nobody is bound to live a sinful life. We all have choices, that is, free will. Nobody goes to hell because they had a bad upbringing, but for a sinful life of which they do not repent.  - yes they go to hell.

God is all-knowing and He understands everything. So do not query if He knows what is fair. Just trust Him and live according to His Will.
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

God's judgement takes all of this into account.
