  • Why is it that most resistance sermons posted on YouTube or elsewhere online are of Fr Pfeiffer or Fr Hewko?
I know both of them are dismissed here on cathinfo, and normally, their names being mentioned starts a big go-around about their character's, flaws and such. That being said, I certainly am having a difficult time finding that many OTHER priest's sermons posted for Catholics, who probably would like to hear truly traditional sermons, and certainly not at the rate of several a week like OLMC. Why is this? Anybody know why other US resistance priests aren't regularly posting their sermons or Masses for the Faithful? Or even other English speaking countries? Fr Chazal used to post Chatechisms videos and sermons in the beginning of the resistance. I mean if anyone NEEDS weekly sermons, it is those isolated from frequent Mass and Sacraments like many resistance Faithful.
Forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere here, I am not on that often.

You bring up a good point.

Unfortunately, Fr. Zendejas doesn't record or post his sermons, because of the constant attempts by Fr. Pfeiffer to ensnare him in his speech (it's quite disgusting, really). Fr. Zendejas even stopped publishing his written sermons or "Blue Papers".

He doesn't want to get into it with Fr. Pfeiffer. It would distract him from his duties, and give Fr. Pfeiffer something to do. He'd rather force Fr. Pfeiffer to spend his time more productively, rather than give him an opponent to fight and argue with.

As to the other Resistance priests, I can't speak to their situation, as I haven't spoken with them about it.

To be honest, I completely agree with you on this. I say record all the good sermons from the good Resistance priests, and as for the hecklers, "let the dead bury the dead." They are going to find fault with you whatever you do anyhow. Furthermore, the majority of people will listen to the body of sermons and form a favorable conclusion about the priest, allowing (or even compelling) them to dismiss the foolish prattle of the priest's enemies.

I am also without Mass and the Sacraments, except for once every 4-6 weeks. On the many Sundays without Mass, my family and I listen to a recorded sermon from Fr. Voigt, pray the family Rosary, and sing some Catholic hymns.

To answer your question, I would suggest Fr. Voigt. He is mainstream Resistance (not affiliated at all with Fr. Pfeiffer) and on good terms with Bishop Williamson, Bishop Faure, and Bishop Thomas Aquinas, but he still sees the need to record and publish his sermons for the sake of those Catholics without access to Mass.

Maybe the others are so busy that they don't have the time?

  • If it weren't for the numerous YouTube videos of the Resistance sermons (+Williamson, Frs. Chazal and Hewko [the 'early' days], I'm not sure I would have seen the problems in the neo-SSPX; especially as a Novus Ordo convert.

I started recording sermons myself, coming from a photography background, to be put online. If you're interested, I run a YouTube channel with some content from +Williamson, +Faure, Frs. Voigt, Chazal, MacDonald, and Hewko (nothing past 2015) and the Avrille Dominicans. The channel is SoldierofChristtheKing (not sure if I can link to it here or not) Due to my current geographical placement, some priests are featured more than others on the channel.

Aside from traveling to record the sermons, Fr. Voigt allows me to upload the content he records himself. It's quite edifying to see the amount of work Fr. V. does to help us scattered sheep.

I used to upload Fr. Pfeiffer's sermons as well, but now I see his words are being used to cause division in the Resistance and support his own agenda/pride. I think the reason you see so many of Fr. Pfeiffer's (and Fr. Hewko's) content is the tactics used by Fr. P and Pablo to keep the media propaganda going. In my personal interactions with OLMC, I came to learn they want to have a 'tight grip' on the P.R. of the Resistance (at least how they want to see it) and will try to bully anyone who disagrees about how they are trying to run things. Even to the point of spreading mistrust and lies about fellow priests.

I have found some other YouTube channels that upload content from English speaking priests, if you're interested:

    Maria Duce
    Joy Steps
    Saint Jude Thaddeus
    pprzes01
    deprecamur

Just my own two cents why we don't see content from other Resistance priests:

Seeing what can happen from being too public, as in the case of Fr. Pfeiffer, perhaps the other priests are acting out of humility of not wanting to have their sermons be put online? If this is the case, I understand it, but as a layman I would prefer to have access to Fr. Zendejas' amazing sermons, among other priests, as well.
