For years I sent Christmas cards out, heathens and various shades of Christian alike. I only got a few back and less and less over the years ... most people, even
"Christian" don't send religious Christmas cards. I now only send out 3 cards to my immediate, elderly relatives .... and even then, one of them is an atheist, but is polite about the subject.
But I just have a question about this subject in general. Is it wrong to send out religious Christmas cards to those who aren't Christian? And what is the suggested action? 1) No card at all, or 2) generic season's greetings type card?
Frankly, it's incredible to me that it's offensive to be faced with Christian images and messages at CHRISTMAS ... one doesn't wish to be reminded of the path they've not chosen, I suppose. Nothing like an image of the Holy Family to annoy and bother people !
Does anyone here still send Christmas cards and what is your rule of etiquette for them?
