    • Did Samson really tie torches to the tails of all those hundreds of foxes and tie their tails together and let them loose so they would burn down the fields? How did he catch all those foxes so quickly?

    • Sure he did. How did he do it? I don't know, but he was obviously a man with a first-class brain and superhuman strength. He could do lots of things that would be impossible for a regular person.

    • Men were smarter, wiser, more clever, and in better shape in Biblical times compared to today.

    Don't let smartphones distract or dazzle you. We're slow, sluggish, slow of wit, have poor memories, and are fat/lazy/out of shape compared to past ages.
    And I forgot incompetent -- the average person can "do" very little that is useful compared to the average person several thousand years ago.

    I agree. Information has increased, but the underlying factors leading to properly understanding things, retaining them, and applying them to other situations have sharply declined.
