No. Their beliefs are different. The Saint Benedict Center are conservatives on EENS and the SSPX are more liberal.

So in other words the SBC are raging Feeneyites?

  • Many of their attendees also go to the Novus Ordo.

  • A strange breed indeed, Feeneyites who approve of Novus Ordo.

But then again, I was told that they were approved by the Novus Ordo, and told that their version of EENS is allowed by Newchurch to be believed.

    Is that correct?

Yes, that's correct - Feeney reconciled with the Novus Ordo Church in 1972, but was not required to recant on his version of EENS.

    Pretty strange indeed.

They probably are not the rabid troublemaking type, or they would likely have been told to leave.

  • Though there are a few sedevacantist Feeneyites, it does seem to be a phenomenon almost entirely reserved for those of the R&R persuasion.

This is to be expected.  If you throw out the Ordinary magisterium, believing it capable of teaching all kinds of "non-binding errors" (whatever those are!) and all the catechisms, approved teachers, theologians, etc. then you end up in the personal interpretation land, which is where all Feeneyites are born.
