  • A friend with an impeccable professional record, a sincere Catholic and a genuine insider to various international info. The person is never alarmist or emotionally driven.  This person told me there is good reason to believe that a terrible war situation is brewing.

The friend is highly skeptical of most prophecies, but has visited Fatima.

I debated posting this, because we all already know we are on the brink of something.  We all know what we need to do to be good Catholics in these times.
I am just putting this out here, because this person is one of the most highly educated, super intelligent, virtuous people I've ever met, who chooses each word carefully...someone worth listening to.  Not to fear monger, only to encourage us to pray for one another and perhaps try to set aside differences for a time.

  •   I am not the person with whom such details would be discussed, even remotely.

More like, don't slack on the prayers, heads up.

  • A double-anonymous poster posts vague information about the possibility of an unknown war that he got from his anonymous "genuine insider" friend.

Forgive me if I am skeptical.

  • Of course, Catholics should be more concerned about the spiritual war we are fighting - which is the grandest war of them all - but just stay alert and prepared for a war against our cells. It will be a war of a pathogenic nature, and its true origin will be hidden, while fables will be fed to the herd as a diversion from the origin. It will be used as pretext for "solutions" that lead to more of the diabolical.
Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war. ~ Psalms 143:1 (Douay-Rheims)

Your skepticism is completely, 100% understandable.  I pray whatever potential crisis this is will be averted, will blow over, and be yet another rumor of war.

The Vatican is already waging spiritual war against faithful Catholics IMO.

The spiritual war is the whole thing, regardless of what possible crisis looms on the horizon.

  • I personally think this is very believable.

I know, I've been waiting for the S to HTF for years now, and I'll admit I'm surprised how long they've managed to keep things together.

But they can't keep it together forever. It's mathematically impossible.

Actually, a financial collapse is one of the "easier" things to prepare for. It's not one of those things were everyone dies or is totally screwed.

But even if only a financial collapse were imminent, it very well might lead to a big war, because you have to look at things from the perspective of the Powers-That-Be. War is a great way to distract the people, get them fired up with blind patriotism, and even reset the economic clock (clear debts, start a new currency, etc.)

Anyhow, why don't you look at this from the opposite perspective. Picture that you're a traditional Catholic that works in Washington, DC (they do exist, you know!) Say you have a friend who has connections, and he warns you but insists that you don't reveal ANYTHING that might point back to him. What would you do?

You'd go on CathInfo, and post a friendly warning anonymously, giving as much information as you can get away with -- which might not be much!

And people would react to it exactly like people have reacted to this thread.

  • Before this anonymous poster posted, I already felt that something was in the air.  I've nothing to back up my feelings except for looking at what all is going on around the world.
I've always said that the end of the world may or may not be near.  But one thing is for sure - that the end is near for me in the next 30 some years, so I live accordingly.

Have you noticed how fast time is now going by or is it just me & my circle of friends?

  • Russia is in the process of taking over Ukraine.  Latvia, Lithuania and a few other countries are taking measures to defend themselves from Russia. We've known for over a month that war is on the horizon and probably WWIII at that.

Maybe I am dense, but what is secret or surprising about the OP?

Russia is not the problem. Russia hasn't been the problem for a long time. Indeed, in a world where peace and safety are at risk every single day because of the historically unprecedented combination of (1) economic and financial hegemony exercised by International Jєωry and (2) the unimaginably huge nuclear arsenal in the hands of the Jєωιѕн-run United States, Russia's presence on the world scene as a remnant of a great power serves as the sole check on a totalitarian campaign of economic slavery, terror, and bƖσσdshɛd that will make the butchery of the Ukraine seem like a mosquito bite and the insights of Orwell seem like the epitome of understatement and shortsightedness.

Opposing the alleged interests of a Judaeo-lithic United States is neither a crime nor a sin. It is a sober response to an unprecedented menace. As for Good Guys and Bad Guys in the world, everyone commenting at CI—even a seventeen-year-old—is far too old to be inculpably ignorant of the fact that the former category simply does not exist. (In mathematical terms, it is the null set.) The only genuine Good Guy state on the planet is the Duchy of Grand Fenwick, and it should come as no surprise that its existence is confined to the pages of several novels.

    It's spelled "prophecy".

Time won't be sped up like that; We're not going to move around in fast motion like a wind-up toy when you grab the winder and forcefully un-spin it. That would be ridiculous.

Why would God speed up time -- the seasons, Sun, Moon, etc. when He could just reduce the period of trial?

There's no need to interpret it. Just give the quote "Unless the days be shortened" which means the most obvious -- the days of the trial reduced in number.

As for the person you're responding to: that's a classic human perception that happens as you get older. The days and years seem to fly by. But you get 24 hours in every day, I assure you. It's just time being funny that way. It's a purely subjective, psychological phenomenon.
