  • Haven't seen you around as much lately. Hope you're doing well. I get the sense that you don't get lonely, but know how to keep yourself amused and engrossed in life.

  • Yeah, you guessed it, it's me.  :laugh1:

Welcome, new member. You've obviously been following a while. Did you ever post in the anonymous subforum when un-registered guests were allowed to post?

  • Spiritus, I think you and Roscoe should get together at Chick-Fil-A and chow down on some delicious food and good conversation.

Spiritus, have you ever wanted to leave the South? It gets mighty humid down there.

Not really, I'd prefer the humidity over the brutally cold winter up north. It's actually pretty cool here today.

  • I hope Myrna's doing okay. I was sad to hear about her recent trials.

One thing I notice about you is that you seem to have a clear conscience. You are very affable with people on the forum and don't put on any airs. You have the light touch.

  • Roscoe, I don't think you have any kind of social anxiety, do you? You seem so comfortable with yourself. You remind me of Stevus in that respect. Cool cucuмber.

I read that you suffered PTSD from your time in Vietnam. I know veterans don't like to talk about their war experiences, but could you share what strategies you used to deal with or overcome the disorder?

"Yrs ago a friend of mine made a copy of U know My Name in one channel & Yellow Submarine in the other. He called it What."

  • I have found that systematic PT( physical training) is very beneficial for PTSD.

I do strength training with weights 3 times a week and jog a course of 1 1/2 miles on the other days.

Music and reading as mucho Church history as possible is also quite helpful.
