1. Fr. S couldn't have witnessed her final vows as a Carmelite hermit since he isn't a Carmelite.  How can someone who isn't a member of an order welcome someone into that order?  Makes no sense.  I'm surprised that Fr. didn't know this!!!

3. OLHC has a house for the nuns.  Why wasn't she there?  I believe that there's another nun there being housed & fed.
4. Sr. A's real name is Debbie - can't remember her last name - would have to look it up.  Might be Ross?
5. If I remember correctly, she's from Camarillo or some place north of LA.  She's divorced & has 2 sons.  Is her ex still living?  Her sons should have been contacted.
6.  She has a long history of coming & going to OLHC.  She tried SSPX but didn't last long as she had to work - so I heard.  Came back to OLHC & then tried a convent in Chicago - would have to look up the name.  It has a mother house in Europe & one in Chicago. Left, came back to OLHC & went to Quito, left & returned to OLHC. Didn't Fr. S visit her there in Quito?  I think there was another convent in the mix but I'd have to dig it up.  At one point she had her own get-up as a nun - quite the sight!
7. At one point she stayed with a woman in Fountain Valley.

Aww, may she rest in peace. Okay, something is making me go hmmmm... a few concerns here-hermits intentionally live a reclusive life, so she wouldn't be wanting palace necessities. However, because she was a nun, that puts her into a unique category. And because she was elderly, that puts her into another unique category again.

She would fall into the category of widows and orphans by default. There is a much heavier obligation to assist such persons by the rest of us, and most especially, those in her immediate realm (ie. any living family members, or the Priest/s nearest her, the parishioners, state, etc.)

IF nobody was assisting this poor woman? That is absolutely APPALLING. Because there is a heavier responsibility towards widows and orphans, there is also heavier punishment for failure to fulfill this.

IF this is true, (that she died in squalor or without basic sustenance?), that is a crime in many places. It would also likely fall into Elder Abuse. That is another legal issue. If CA is a "Duty to Report" State? Those that are/were responsible for her had a legal duty to report to authorities that this woman needed assistance. She would be considered a "vulnerable person" (like a minor child).

SO...IF there is anyone where she lived that is not following their LEGAL responsibilities (never mind the moral and ethical ones)? They could be in big trouble. It would be the same "Duty to Report" by teachers, etc. if there was any suspected child abuse going on in the case of a minor student. The teacher would be bound to report it to authorities.

So IF there are teachers down there not doing their jobs, and Priests not being properly vetted to work with minors, and nobody is properly looking after the widows and orphans there? Etc.

Evil. Pure Evil. I would not put kids near 1000 miles of such a place, nor would I attend Mass there, and nor would I affiliate with any such parishioners or staff that are so apparently negligent and incompetent in so many areas, not the least of which is basic common sense. It sounds like there are many people lacking brains and intelligence in that place and are highly unqualified to be in any positions of authority over children, the elderly, etc.

That place needs to be burned down or demolished or something. There is something VERY wrong. WHERE IS THE EMPATHY?? I wouldn't trust ANYONE from that place to walk my dog. (If they couldn't handle looking after a dog, there is no way I would trust them with a child, (nor another vulnerable person) that's the principle involved. If someone treats animals like garbage, they aren't going to treat children or people any better).

Sociopath/Psychopath test #1. "Do they have empathy for others?" No? Red flag. If you see a child treating animals like garbage, you probably have at least a sociopath (if not a psychopath) on your hands. If you see an adult treating animals like garbage? RUN!

God help the homeless and destitute in that state (CA) IF this is how ordinary Catholics act there in looking after their own kind. Crazy! Corporal Works of Mercy is Elementary School Catechism! We actually have to DO THEM!

May God have mercy on us all. May this poor nun rest in peace. Thank-you, God for all the blessings and graces I have received. I am sorry Sister Anastasia that you were failed by so many people.



P.S. And if you have never worked with the homeless, addicts, mentally ill or destitute (or some combination of these) to help in the flesh? Then you need to pray extra hard for not helping them. Sitting around and boasting of being Traditional Catholics is only a label. Anyone can call themselves anything. Disturbing. Very disturbing to read this.
