We should be concerned about how to distribute these blessed items. There's extreme hostility to Christ and they will be abused if care is not taken with who receives them i.e. casting pearls before swine.

Also, I thought the Church strongly encourages investment when receiving the brown scapular? Otherwise, what is the benefit to the wearer? They will not know or understand. It's not as simple as 'put it on and you'll go to heaven'.

Better to distribute green scapulars to most people (other than practicing Catholics). But again, be careful who you give them to!

I agree ! Rosaries and scapulars are sacramentals not Lucky Charms. (would you believe I have a wholesale religious catalogue where they are listed under Lucky Charms.)

I have another idea. Make them and mail out to chapels overseas.
