Title: Red Cross
Post by: Änσnymσus on June 14, 2012, 03:58:44 PM
I hear weird things about the American and International Red Cross, like the routine full orchestra performances in Geneva and that they charge victims of disasters after the fact.  According to family legend, my grandfather was denied a clean uniform from the Red Cross while fighting in Europe and had to get one from them through a British soldier buddy of his.

So naturally I am hesitant to give them blood.

Should I be?  And are there better alternatives for blood donation?

Sorry that noone has yet responded to your new post. I cannot answer your questions, except to say that I am always suspicious of big international "charities". I suggest you do a websearch for
Quote
red cross corruption
Quote
red cross hiv aids

red cross reproductive health

I have just done that at this is the first I came up with. http://www.damninteresting.com/retired/can-we-trust-the-red-cross/
