  • It is teaching in Canon Law, that a successor to an office has the same authority that a predecessor had in that office.  So a Pope can not bind a Pope, with whatever language.  I hope this is helpful to some out there.

  • In that case, I suppose we could surmise that the Holy Ghost changes from time to time.   Hey!  Right on, that is what the new church teaches.
