  • Don't really have a favourite.  I have a pair of Church's which I have had for 12 years, resoled them once.  They look nice but have never been very comfortable.  What I tend to do with shoes is buy designer branded ones at heavily discounted prices.  They last longer and you only have to break them in once.  I only have two pairs of shoes though, the Oxfords by Church's and some old but very comfortable YSL loafers which seem to be bullet proof.  I wear those with orthopaedic inserts and they are like wearing carpet slippers.  At home we always wear slippers and I work from home.  No shoes in the house.  That is the Russian way.
