  • She did not have to die, since she was not subject to Original Sin.  But, then, Our Lord was not subject to Original Sin either, yet He chose to die in order to redeem mankind.  It would seem fitting that Our Lady, as Co-Redemptrix, would have made the same choice in order to perfectly participate in Her Son's Passion.  So I believe that she died momentarily.  But neither she nor Our Lord experienced any corruption of death.

That was I who posted this.  Why is something like this posted in Anonymous?

  • I still highly recommend The Mystical City of God.  Chapters are titled and can be found easily.  Mary Agreda is an incorruptible. St. John Vianney promoted The City of  God.
Maria Valtorta's books are superior to those of Mary of Agreda who wrote the "Mystical City of God."
As I recall, Mary of Agreda, burned the first version of the Mystical City of God, then years later,
tried to recall from memory.  Jesus did not get completely what He wanted from Anne Catherine
Emerick or Mary of Agreda, so He dictated to Maria Valtorta and got a much better product.
See this page for more information, and Fr. Kevin Robinson's talk :

  • This did NOT belong in the Anonymous subforum, 1st Mansion Tenant.

Please create topics in the correct subforum.

This isn't nitpicking; this clearly was not a sensitive or personal subject, or one that would open you to ridicule on the forum. This is a perfectly legit question to discuss openly.

  • When you are inside of a thread, how do you know which subforum you are in ???
When you go back to the home page and try to find the thread, it's difficult.

Ohh, now I see the fine print at the top of the page.  Could be larger type.

    .
I fail to understand your argument.
You've read most of Valtorta's books, right?
Really, how much have you read ?

    .
There is a lot of bad information about Maria Valtorta that has been written
and at first encounter, it encourages you to reject her books.
    .
If you want to keep your first impression, then that is OK, but don't laugh
at people who have gotten past the first impression.
    .
For a true picture of what the Poem of the Man-God is all about, listen to
the following talk.  If you don't want to hear the other side of the argument,
then you remain ignorant on this subject.

I've read about as much if them as I could take.  I found it to be extremely sappy and disedifying ... very much unlike the sense I had from reading Agreda or Emmerich.

    This.^^^

It makes no sense to me to know that Our Lord God Almighty died, then think that Our Blessed Mother didn't.
