  • How would you know if you have a vocation?  I feel that I might but I am not sure if that is what God wants.

  • If you think you might have a vocation, then you might.  When asked that question by my daughter, the sisters at the convent just said you know.  And they also said they knew that really wasn't very helpful.

If you think you might have a vocation, contact a seminary or convent.  If they are reputable and Catholic they will help you truly discern a vocation as a nun, brother, or priest (you don't say if you're a boy or a girl).  If you don't, you will discover that too.

I would recommend going to the CMRI website.  (I was unable to post the website link here.  Apparently it is not permitted, but you can probably figure it out if you try.)

There are vocations links on the sidebar.

    Dear Original Poster,

This is EXCELLENT advice by the Guest that I have just quoted.

Visit www. cmri. org and look a the Vocations Links in their sidebar on the left-hand side of your screen.

The CMRI have MORE than one Vocation link.
There is information about becoming a priest or a brother, and other links about becoming a nun and about the community of nuns.

    God Bless you, Original Poster.

  • You could also contact the resistance priests and get information from them. There's a seminary they're planning to open next year, and there are other places who have signed onto the resistance that are already well established.
