By the way, there is no chance this thread could constitute detraction. Just for starters, no "person" has even been named!
No person has been named explicitly, but the identities of the two individuals whom the OP described as "running everything" are trvially decipherable to anyone who attends Saint Anthony's...and this thread
is currently being circulated around the chapel.
(I'm not asserting that any detraction took place. Just pointing out that statements made about certain individuals in this thread might as well be pinned to the chapel door--the faithful are reading it.)
The OP gives the impression that the HNS is running wild at the chapel with no oversight. I'm not sure if that was his intent, but I would push back on such a characterization. The HNS has no real authority other than to make recommendations to the priest assigned to the chapel, who ultimately signs off on (or vetoes) any decisions.
The social media videos are not to my taste, but I don't personally see the big deal with photos of Novus Ordo clergy in the vestibule. Masses at the chapel are offered in union with the Pope Leo and local diocesan bishop. Is offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to an alleged antipope not a far greater "scandal" than a random picture hung up in the vestibule?
Same deal with the Papal blessing. The position of the current SSPX is that Pope Leo is the pope, and I've only ever been admonished from the pulpit
against sedevacantism. Should we be surprised when some men from a chapel whose clergy profess fidelity to Pope Leo solicit a blessing from that same Pope?
