Please pray for my mother.  She is nearly 94 and has just been given the news she needs surgery to remove a small malignancy.  She's also barely able to walk with a walker.  I'm mainly concerned for soul.  She goes to the n.o. very occasionally when able, but is fairly ignorant of the faith due to growing up in an abusive mixed-religious home where religion was the cause of the arguments.  Bringing up spiritual matters greatly upsets her.  
Please pray for me, the older "child" and only traditional Catholic in the close and extended family. I have minimal power over moral and spiritual conditions, since most have rejected me outright, and a few merely tolerate my religious beliefs and practices, putting them up to eccentricity, a trait I've had since early childhood.  I'm in need of wisdom.
