Has anyone been told they needed surgery to repair severe pelvic organ prolapse while still in their child bearing years? What was the outcome?

Also, see if you have an ob/gyn in your area who is registered with your local Catholic diocese as a doctor who is "approved" , for lack of a better word. These doctors will do their very best, in my experience, to maintain the life of the unborn and also protect the dignity of the woman as a bearer of life.

I knew of a woman who had it done, but she was hoping for more children, If it was done. Out come is the brain knows and this woman I knew was told it would not help bring on another pregnancy. Ligaments stretch and weaken. She did not have other children. She had 14 children.

Surgery while pregnant, no. I never heard of it. I don't think I would do it, for fear of difficulties that could arise.
