I would also add that doctors aren't as "tempted" as you might imagine.
(I'm speaking of the case of a male doctor and a female patient)
Sure, they're still men, but TO A POINT a person can build up massive defenses, and accustom themselves to something, or even "get sick of" it.
Remember that context matters. A fluorescent-lit exam room, with full pressure on the doctor to be professional, an over-booked schedule, pressure to make lots of money to pay off his student loans and his malpractice insurance premiums, not to mention his other bills, combined with the fact that he sees this stuff ALL THE TIME, and a lot of it is actually gross (STDs?), I wouldn't worry about the doctors too much.
Just like many gamers think it would be a dream job to test games for a living. But let me tell you something: those game testers consider it to be WORK. 100%. It's not sitting in your living room, popping in a game CD, playing it for an hour, then taking a break, then a few hours later popping in another game CD and playing it as long as you like...
No, they have to play the game in certain ways, reporting the various glitches, playing the same part over and over trying to get a glitch to happen, etc. They have to play the same game 8 hours a day, for weeks on end. I'm sure they have NO FUN while doing so.
Also, women aren't normally good at working for a living, leading, etc. by nature, but human beings were designed to be incredibly flexible, and can adapt. NOT SAYING THAT NATURE WON'T COME BACK TO BITE YOU, or that you can 100% change nature, but a person can go a long way towards bucking or modifying nature. Just look at the modern world.
A man can build up a mental wall -- call it virtue -- to deal with various things. The brain can block things out (horrible things, scary things, violent things, gross things, stimulating things, etc.) and deal with a wide range of situations, with the right mindset and training.
