  • Yes, nothing wrong with warning people, but something is wrong with publishing rash judgments on a public forum

I will say this. If a priest, chapel, religious order, society, fraternity seems “off,” it probably is!  Take the time and space to objectively evaluate before you jump in.
    Absolutely right, on both accounts.
Publishing data is one thing, but extrapolating and rash judgements are quite another.

Rash judgements can be problematic. At the other extreme is a total failure of prudence. Let's just stick to the facts.

Fr. Perez of OLHC allowed a young man (who did not complete H.S. but who went Pfeifferville for 2 1/2 years, and was "ordained" by Father Pfeiffer who is not a Bishop and did not perform the rite correctly) to say Mass.

Fr. Perez failed to make a phone call to see if docuмented child-molester (and laicized) Mr. Joseph Colletti was actually a priest or not.

Fr. Perez failed to make a phone call to see if Mr. Michael Wiest who calls himself Fr. Michael Wiest was actually a priest or not.

These add up to an egregious lack of prudence. To those who have read the extensively docuмented facts the problem is a lack of prudence.

Posters who skim over the information provided might want to go back and read some more. What may look like rash judgement is not.

  • Rash judgements can be are problematic. At the other extreme is a total failure of prudence. Let's just stick to the facts.

Fr. Perez of OLHC allowed a young man (who did not complete H.S. not sure about this, as he was homeschooled but who went Pfeifferville for 2 1/2 6 years, and was "ordained" by Father Pfeiffer who is may not a Bishop and did may not perform the rite correctly), to say Mass.

Fr. Perez failed to make a phone call to see if docuмented child-molester (and laicized) Mr. Joseph Colletti was actually a priest or not. Do you know, for certain, he did not make such a phone call?  Also, some traditional priests do not it recognize NO laicizations as legitimate.  Does Fr. Perez?

Fr. Perez failed to make a phone call to see if Mr. Michael Wiest who calls himself Fr. Michael Wiest was actually a priest or not.
Again, do you know, for certain, that he didn't make such a call?  Maybe Wiest is a priest.  Hard to believe, as he owned a Buddhist junk shop just 6 years ago, but maybe he is.  I haven't seen proof that he's not a priest.

These add up to an egregious lack of prudence. To those who have read the extensively docuмented facts the problem is a lack of prudence.  I have read the facts, i and I am still not convinced.

Posters who skim over the information provided might want to go back and read some more. What may look like rash judgement is not.
It seems to me you have extrapolated too far and have made judgements without enough data.
    My comments in bold above.

  • What are your thoughts on “Father” looking exactly like the  Michael Wiest in the article? This Michael Wiest is a layman who owned two antique stores which specialized in antique Chinese Buddha statues and antique Chinese screens. These photos have been posted here, as have the photos of “Father” Michael Wiest’s Buddhist  altar in his home. This photo was taken by chapel members who were in his home to assist with upkeep of his home. They are Vietnamese and know a Buddhist altar when they see one. One of them was so shocked that that person fled the home. The other person went back to get tools and took the photo.

Someone here researched the occult meaning of the mirror on “Father” Michael Wiest’s altar which is used to “communicate with the dead”. There are also occult meanings to the white candles and lotus flower on “Father” Michael Wiest’s altar.

If you go to the article you will see “For more information, contact Wiest at (623) 295-1197.”

If you do a reverse look up on  (623) 295-1197 you will find many facts about Michael Wiest
    here

including two of his email addresses
    bacchinale@hotmail.com
    bacchinale@yahoo.com

The word BACCHINALE is another word for WILD SEX ORGY
Interesting email for a traditional Catholic priest.

If you don't like the facts, so be it, but don't call the facts calumny.

    My thoughts are:

    - this belongs here
    https://www.cathinfo.com/anonymous-posts-allowed/father-michael-weist-no-record-of-his-existance/

    - Fr. Perez needs to address this smoking gun.

    - stay away from Wiest

    - consider going elsewhere for mass

    - follow archbishop Lefevre, God rest his soul, and go with that which is surest.

    - pray for Fr. Perez

  • This is the Budda alter in Fr. Wiest's home

Has nothing to do with Croisette being at OLHC.

Except to show a pattern of neglect of the Faithful by Fr. Perez.
