Ballet dancing is not dirty dancing.  Is tap dancing bad?  Is country line dancing bad? Is Irish dancing bad? Is square dancing bad?  It can all get very complicated fast.  There is not a simple answer.  Unless we become puritans.  No alcohol  No make up.  No driving cars.  No swimming.  No showering.  :trollface:  Yes I am getting a little silly with the topic.  I am signing off until tomorrow.
It's not complicated AT ALL.  If one wears MODEST CLOTHING, you can dance all you want.  Exceptions would be admittedly sensual dances that have already been church-condemned (i.e. salsa).

I don't understand how you can continue to NOT understand why ballet is wrong -- because of immodest dress.  Ballet is NOT DEPENDENT upon the leotard/tights.  Unless you think it is, then, in that case, ballet is off-limits. 

If you can't fathom a world where ballet dancers wear knee-length dresses and actual shirts ---then, yes, I agree with you, ballet is not allowed.  At all.

This is correct. In the book on modern dances (like the waltz) it was mention that the dances are trying to have pleasures that are not lawful for them to have.

Its fine if they are married and no one sees. But if they are not married it's inappropriate, if someone sees it's scandalous. Yes fathers should not be dancing with their daughters.
