Thank you so much for all your prayers and generous sacrifices.

Did this priestly ordination take place at the hands of Bishop Tomas Aquinas yesterday, December 17th?

  • Does this order answer to the dioceses?  If so, then nothing took place.

  • I'm not sure why this was posted in anonymous, but the ordination referred to here was the ordination by Bishop Thomas Aquinas, OSB.

We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...

    Of course it did.

    A Priest(Carmelite,Filipino) is Born

    Dear Faithful,

We are glad to announce that Brother John c.d. has been ordained a priest yesterday by His Lordship dom Thomas Aquinas. The weeklong rains stopped and the pontifical ceremony was benedictine clockwork, as you can see on the pictures that are soon to be posted on benedictinos.org.br.

The decision of Bishop Williamson to consecrate Dom Thomas was vital and our gratitude also goes to him, because yet again the european visa of Father John was denied, and the set up in Santa Cruz was perfect. Santa Cruz is quite a bastion of interior life, especially.

It is an immense relief for the overstretched confreres and for the missions that are going to be much better attended in Cebu, Camiguin, Leyte and Luzon where we are hoping to give bimonthly visits and where the number of faithful has been growing of late.

Two new vocations are emerging at the beginning of 2017, they have missed the academic year, but they confirm that help is definitely on the way.

The situation remains volatile in Australia and we will do our best to visit more the missions of the outer layer, knowing alas that our next ordination is on June 2020...
But many of you are assuring that Our Lady has something in store much before this date.

    In Iesu et Maria,
    François Chazal+
