Nice! The closest I’ve come to that was two weeks of solo car camping in the Maine Wilderness Area, 1998. The radio in my old Chevette had died the death, so my only technology was a cheap crank-powered shortwave/weather receiver from Radio Shack, unless you counted a weapon. Both were for personal safety. Getting caught in a microburst or lightning storm wouldn’t be good. I also didn’t want a close encounter with a bear, mountain cougar, copperhead, or timber rattler. I often find I pray and meditate best while doing an activity like chopping wood, building an awning frame, nursing along a campfire, carving or doing some sort of arts and crafts. It’s better for my focus than just sitting or kneeling still in one place for a long time.
