society is messed up. No one wants to help the poor and yet conservatives complain about the govt helping them! Um... what?

Christians in THIS country are persecuted, and yet no one talks about that. They talk about Christians  being persecuted in other countries but NEVER in this one. Oh, this is such a great country, don'tcha know? Yes, we are a great country... where there is still poverty and still people sleeping on the sidewalk. No politician, or few anyway, wants to talk about that. At least DeBlasio addressed the issue, just not in a good way, not in a way that would really help the poor

I am beginning to think working is a right. But employers can reject people just b/c they "don't look right".. just b/c they remind them of someone they don't like... I mean, get real.. You can't force anyone to g ive someone a job.. so quit acting like those who can't find work are somehow lazy or --fill in the blanks

society is massively messed up. Christians are treated like dirt. The greedy are rewarded. Look at Aaron Hernandez--had everything... and murdered people

Look at all the wealthy people and if you look closely you will see sin... anti-Christ attitudes and etc... But try being a true Christian and you will be treated like scuм.
Society is messed up. There are subtle messages being given to us every day.. subliminal messages: buy this, buy that.. act phony b/c if you are yourself you will get fired, you will b e rejected, won't be able to find another job, keep your true thoughts to yourself.. and I could just go on and on

people adjust to the messedUpNess by being messed up (spiritually)

The closer we get to Our Lord the more we are going to suffer. People think blessings are primarily received through an increase in material things. Which of course, is not true. God favors the poor and suffering souls in this world and for all eternity. He sent an Angel to appear to lowly shepherds after the birth of Our Lord. Also, the first recorded person he appeared to after he arose was Mary Magdalene. The world and society will never get it right. The Traditionalist mentality frequently does not get it right these days either. Very sad. Two men went up to the Temple to pray. One was a Publican and the other one was a Pharisee. There are many who maintain and justify a mentality just like the Pharisee. Peace on earth will only be found by men or women of GOOD WILL. That peace can only be attained by seeking and aspiring to God's holy will. I hope many will ask for it, seek it and find it. Including me and all those I love as well as all poor suffering souls.

this was quite uplifting. You forget that God does favor the poor... you just totally forget that.. b/c society thinks thats insane
