That's what one of the detractors of the new bill said today on the news. I wasn't paying attention to the name of the person (although I was taking notes.. just don't have notes in front of me).

In any case, this situation is just another example of how the most important thing in life is TRUST. You can't have a healthy or constructive relationship without trust. You can't have anything at all  without at least one person you can trust. The only people in Congress I trust belong to the Freedom Caucus, and they do not like the bill, so I don't like it either. It does have some good things going for it... but wouldn't be a bill if it didn't, so that's not saying anything.

I don't like how the tax credits (earned by We the People) go to insurance companies!  No one has explained how that even is supposed to work. Maybe it is no wonder they don't explain it, if the insurance companies are the primary beneficiaries...

Just knowing it goes to the insurance companies would seem to be enough for us (we the people) to say NYET.

Frankly, I hate insurance companies... but I won't digress any further. I don't think anyone likes them much.

I think we need to stand behind Rand, Rubio, Lee, Cruz, Meadows and all the others who are against the bill. I have heard they are all (Republicans) working on improving it, which is good to hear. It doesn't look like Trump is just blowing the nay-saying conservatives off

I have yet to see Rand Paul or any of the above Freedom Caucus folks on Fox News today. Maybe they were on TV when I went to lunch?

Yes, their concerns have been mentioned on Fox, but I haven't heard directly from them. Fair and balanced? I don't know...
