  • I was talking to my therapist about how I was stressed out because of CÖVÌD and she asked if I was going to take the ναccιnє and I said not unless they force me. And she was very supportive and said that they could not force anyone to take the ναccιnє. I expected her to get angry with me and try to argue that the ναccιnє was good. But she did not and was understanding. I also asked if she was getting a lot more people needing therapy because of CÖVÌD and she said that there were a lot more patients in the mental health system where I live.

  • I'm beginning to wonder whether there are a lot more anti CÖVÌD Vaxxers than we think.  I just wonder if we'll ever know the real numbers.

Notice that the OP’s therapist is non-committal. She responded to OP who was expecting her to angry.
If you are working in the health field you must beware of giving too much away or you could be out of the health field in no time at all.
Interesting that the OP needed to seek the help of a therapist.

So the numbers I saw today indicate that 49% of Republican men say they’ll refuse the vax.  90% of Dems say they’ve already gotten at least one shot.  Maybe that’ll thin the heard in our favor.   :laugh1:

Catholics do not go to therapists,  male or female ones, Catholics go to trad priests. We do not need therapy, we need God. If she were any good, she would have told you the whole thing is a worldwide fearmongering lie.

There is a reason "that there were a lot more patients in the mental health system" - don't be one of them, do not go to therapists, go to a trad priest.

Still those numbers are pretty sad. I was talking to my mechanic yesterday, who’s a very conservative Protestant who DOESN’T WEAR A MASK, he told me he reluctantly got the shot. He gave me the usual excuse, his mother is elderly and not in good health. I can’t believe how many conservative people I know who acknowledge that this CÖVÌD thing is, at the very least, exaggerated, have gotten the “ναccιnє”. In many of the cases I’ve seen, it seems that the spouses or their peers are putting pressure on them to get it. This I believe is probably the biggest reason for them getting it.

  • And when push comes to shove, how many will give in due to peer pressure, or "I want to get groceries", etc.  Probably these are the same people that wear the mask "just" to get into the store, and then take it off.  You're still wearing the mask, and still going along with it....  It's got to be all or nothing.

I don't agree with this.  I think that there's a place for therapy, provided you find a good Catholic therapist ... and there are some out there.  We are both grace and nature, and sometimes when nature is broken, it's more difficult for grace to operate.  As per St. Thomas, grace builds on nature and doesn't remove it.  When people are suffering with depression, anxiety, types of addiction, there are psychological, cognitive, and even physiological aspects to it that can be helped with some good therapy, provided it's done within the constraints of Catholic doctrine and morals.

This may be, but not when a person is stressed out about taking a shot in the arm for the CÖVÌD, the last thing they need is a woman therapist to empathize with them, which helps not one thing.

  • Yes, there is a place for Catholic psychologists. I don't know about using drugs to alter the mind, however (psychiatry).

There is a need in-between general practitioners (doctors) and priests absolving and advising you in the confessional.

There are mental problems, obsessions (non-demonic), compulsions, and psychological issues that a psychologist is called for to help with.

Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to get a good Catholic psychologist, because how could he even practice? He'd be sued or have his license taken away (in short, "cancelled") as soon as he advised a young man or woman to treat their same-sex attractions as a sinful temptation, and something to be fought.

Just another reason the Modern World can't have many years left -- we already have completely lost a whole category of caregivers, due to modern political correctness, i.e., the progress that has been made in making certain kinds of sin acceptable. The only way out is a complete reset or chastisement. "This World", as long as it's allowed to exist, will never let that happen.

  • Oh I hope those numbers are true!

These may even be understated.  Mitch McConnell yesterday was pleading with "Republican men" to get the vax, saying "I am a Republican man, and I got the ναccιnє."  Many of us would say that he's neither Republican nor a man, but hey.  My late father used to say, in his thick Hungarian accent, of John Paul II:  "Holy Father?  He is neither holy nor a father."   :laugh1:

I've wondered about whether this ναccιnє thing would backfire, as the dumbed down sheep (those without critical thinking skills) are the ones who will take the ναccιnє in droves, while those who are awake to the cօռspιʀαcιҽs and can think for themselves will tend to stay away.

I wonder about that. If the ναccιnє would really kill you then they would force everyone to take it. They don't want only Tɾυmρ voters with guns to be left alive and all the commies dead. Maybe the ναccιnє really will save your life and they will ναccιnαte the commies and then they will release the bioweapon that will kill the unναccιnαted Tɾυmρ voters.
