So the numbers I saw today indicate that 49% of Republican men say they’ll refuse the vax.  90% of Dems say they’ve already gotten at least one shot.  Maybe that’ll thin the heard in our favor.   :laugh1:
Still those numbers are pretty sad. I was talking to my mechanic yesterday, who’s a very conservative Protestant who DOESN’T WEAR A MASK, he told me he reluctantly got the shot. He gave me the usual excuse, his mother is elderly and not in good health. I can’t believe how many conservative people I know who acknowledge that this Covid thing is, at the very least, exaggerated, have gotten the “vaccine”. In many of the cases I’ve seen, it seems that the spouses or their peers are putting pressure on them to get it. This I believe is probably the biggest reason for them getting it.

And when push comes to shove, how many will give in due to peer pressure, or "I want to get groceries", etc.  Probably these are the same people that wear the mask "just" to get into the store, and then take it off.  You're still wearing the mask, and still going along with it....  It's got to be all or nothing.

Catholics do not go to therapists,  male or female ones, Catholics go to trad priests. We do not need therapy, we need God.

I don't agree with this.  I think that there's a place for therapy, provided you find a good Catholic therapist ... and there are some out there.  We are both grace and nature, and sometimes when nature is broken, it's more difficult for grace to operate.  As per St. Thomas, grace builds on nature and doesn't remove it.  When people are suffering with depression, anxiety, types of addiction, there are psychological, cognitive, and even physiological aspects to it that can be helped with some good therapy, provided it's done within the constraints of Catholic doctrine and morals.

This may be, but not when a person is stressed out about taking a shot in the arm for the covid, the last thing they need is a woman therapist to empathize with them, which helps not one thing.
