  • The goal of corrupt wire-pullers to destroy family life is reflected in modern fashions.

The idea that modest clothing is "slavery" that has been promoted for a long time now.

Of course, it goes without saying that flagrant immodesty, heavy paint, tattoos, etc, are suggestive of promiscuity, and that theme has been beaten to death.

However, yesterday it occurred to me a slightly more subtle reason for current fashions.

Short hair, heavy make-up, immodest dress, all these things tend to erase the advantages that young women have over older women.

Long hair and natural complexion as fashions give the young woman a huge advantage.

Convince a young woman to cut her hair short or wear a lot of makeup and immodest clothing, and her advantage over the older women is greatly diminished.

Society has been organized to delay marriage and encourage promiscuity, and utterly diminish the value placed on chastity in a bride, because of the over-arching goal of the culture subverters to destroy family life.

And modern fashions, to encourage young women to project that they behave in a brassy, classless, immoral manner, is designed to destroy the conception of the the innocent bride.  To even treat it as a perverted value.

  • i never thought about it that way....but it definitely seems true enough! Whenever I leave the house...it never fails...I will either be told [usually by one of my female peers] that I look like 'a grandmother' or 'little house on the prairie' or 'amish' or 'mormon'....whatever. The point is, that the girls who say this stuff are tanning themselves, wearing short 'bob' haircuts, dying their hair, dressing to show 'a whooole lot of body parts' (usually wearing those hideous yoga pants which show the contours of EVERYTHING), caking on the makeup.....basically just turning themselves into monsters and, quite frankly, making themselves look much older and much less feminine. =(
Now, I didn't always dress the way I do now..as I was raised in a very NO family (save for my Grandpa who was/is a big Lefebvre fan). At 21 (I am 24 now), I became disgusted from my past so I decided to 'hide' myself as a penance. I really felt that God was calling me to mortify myself because of my past vanity so.....I began to wear what *most* people would consider 'frumpy, old, ragged, plain' clothes. I also began always to cover my head when outside of my home. However, lately my 'mortification' has been such a blessing. Even two [pretty vulgar] guys at my college were saying how they missed having me live on campus because, as they said, "you are such a breath of fresh air! when we are around you we don't have to worry about being bombarded with crudeness!" They also were talking about how different they treat me as opposed to the other girls...who they cannot respect for many reasons. When girls come to love God with our whole hearts, He makes the beauty of our femininity painfully clear and we want to guard it so bad! I really wonder why these modern girls reject something so beautiful... maybe it is that they (like me in the past) never learned to treasure their feminine beauty? I don't know...but I think that you are right, these girls and women are only aging themselves! They look almost frightful and very sterile. They need Our Lady.

  • With the young women like that, and the old women trying to look like the young women, promiscuity lasts a whole lot longer, and the idea of respected and venerable old age disappears. Instead it's all false 'youth' with prostitute's wear.

  •  :applause:

    This is an interesting point.
These immodestly dressed women sometimes wear prostitute style clothes, even when they are old women.

  • Feminism is from satan.

It used to be customary to use a lower-case "s" when writing the accursed name of satan. To avoid giving honour to the worm.

When we write the word God, we use an upper-case "g". We do this to give praise to God.

You should ALWAYS write satan with a small "s". Do not praise the evil one.

And, the Jєωs and the Freemasons are behind it because it breaks up the
gentile family.  And the godless state becomes the supreme parents.
And the results today is that one out of three children comes from a
family not headed by a Father compared to 60 years ago not one
out of a 100 came from a Fatherless family.

  • It is so gross and embarassing to see elderly women showing decollete of brown weathered skin.  I hate seeing old women wearing halters and strapless in the summer.  And don't get me started on their old wrinkled feet and red toenails.

It goes without saying that it is always immodest, regardless of age or beauty.

  • I don't understand what they are thinking.  I guess they are deluded, plain and simple.  They don't see what they really look like, and they have no idea how other people see them.  Even if they're willing to acknowledge the wrinkling and sagging, etc., they are more likely to exclaim that that's better than looking ....GASP! matronly

One of the worst things my N.O.  relative could every say about something was that it was "old-fashioned"  that was worse than ugly or anything else.

  • So many of the styles are created by ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs who HATE and envy women.  The new Roman warrior high heel things!    They look as if they could damage fertility by tilting the womb.

  • There is a very disturbing trend of "body modification" that I think gets little attention but it's more serious than immodest dress because it's permanent.  Body piercings, tattoos, carving the skin, and placing objects into the body for "personal expression"....what is this person expressing about themselves?

That they are lost and insecure?   That they place value only in material things that are vain and fleeting?  That they care more about looking (or what they think looks) "cool" than about their health or dignity?  That having plastic surgery to increase one's perceived physical value to attract other vain and empty people to have vain and empty relationships that are fleeting and insignificant is the purpose of life?

Someone said to me once that they thought people were getting tattoos because it was the only thing in their lives they knew would last "forever" (or as long as they lived).  They can't count on marriage or family to last forever.  They have no faith in God and believe that when they die, their body is put into the ground and that's IT.

    Sad.
