  • With everything going on in the Church, it is easy to feel sick, disgusted and tired.  So much unholiness attacking us all from every direction.  Modernism and liberalism slowly taking over our parishes.   So much distractions.  Mass is a show for some.  Everyone backstabbing one another.   Gossiping.

Would it be a sin to miss Mass when I feel spiritually and physically ill?  Sometimes one needs a truly day of rest to pray alone.  A mini retreat from the world.

  • That’s kind of a silly question... if you are spiritually ill going to church, and receiving communion would be the best medicine. Pulling away from God won’t help.

  • It would also be in your best interest to find a more traditional parish.
