Mary appeared--and says that these days. more make it to Heaven

    • I heard some good news. I heard that Mary appeared (somewhere, maybe a decade or 2 ago?) and  said that these days, more people go to Purgatory (which means  that they do go to Heaven, just have to go through Purgatory first)

    i dont recall the name of the apparition or the place. It could have been Fatima ? but it seems it was more recent than that?

    in any case, it seems a little un-fair that more peple would "make it" these days than in the old days. What do we have now that people d idn't have back then?

    in any case... she didn't say HOW MANY more get to Heaven (more than what St Bernard said?), so--anyone who wants to get to Heaven should -- uh...pay attention

    • on the other hand, it seems there is far more evil these days, so maybe Mary meant it back then, but

    things have changed so much since then? In any case, Jesus does not want us to become complacent. Some think all they have to do to get to Heaven is go to Church on Sunday. But going to Church in and of itself is not going to work if you don't apply what you get there. Jesus said that whatever we do to the least of His people, we do to HIM. 

    Jesus (frankly) is being abused right and left. Most Christians, when they look at another Christian see only a human being... with out-of-date clothes, out-of-date car, no prestigious job, and they say to themselves: THAT cannot and never could be Jesus

    and they go their merry way, thankful not to be that person. I'm sorry but I have seen this many many times. People seem to just refuse to see Jesus in anyone but themselves. And yet it so often seems to be the --- 

    If they see Him there, they are seeing things

    If it is a recent apparition...  I would not trust it...
    That being said, I think that Our Lady did say something (in an approved vision) that the it would be easier to become a saint in the latter days because of all the turmoil...

    • Interesting that a modern apparition of Mary would say that more people go to purgatory just as Conciliar popes begin teaching universal salvation.
