    him after all he publicly praised a gαy athlete for coming out of the closet.

    I have criticized Cardinal Dolan's numerous abominable outrages many times here and I've sent letters of protest to him and Bishop DiMarzio (who is bishop of the diocese in which I live). I've never received a reply and I won't hold my breath waiting for one.

    Yes, I live in the belly of the beast, like the Christians in pagan Rome. When the Great Prececution begins in earnest, people like me will be the first to have their heads on the chopping block... but you, wherever you live, won't be far behind.

    And of course I need prayers. Don't you?

    That being the case, it's better to quote the sainted Holy Father directly than to paraphrase him.
