  • Let us pray that we now have a David to fight and destroy the Modernist Goliath in Rome.

Below is what Fr Fabrice Loschi of Sri Lanka has to say about Fr Davide Pagliarani:

    Eighth Sunday after Pentecost

    Negombo 15 July 2018

    1. You may have heard that last Wednesday, our religious congregation, the Society of Saint Pius X, has elected a new Superior General. The Superior General is the priest in charge of all the houses of the congregation in the whole world. It is a big responsibility. The Assistants of the Superior General are also new. The First Assistant is Bishop de Galarreta and the Second Assistant is a French priest, Fr. Bouchacourt.

    2. The new Superior General is Father Davide Pagliarani. Some of you know him as he was in charge of our house here in Kurana for 3 or 4 years in the early 2000s; he was present here on the day of the tsunami. After the tsunami, he liaised with the Archbishop’s House for the Aid relief sent by us from abroad when our Society contributed to the building of villages in the Sea Street area.

    3. Fr. Pagliarani is Italian and worked in Argentina for 6 years as well as Fr. Bouchacout who happened to meet Pope Francis when he was the Archbishop of Buenos Aires. Bp de Galarreta also lived in Argentina for many years. Pope Francis is of Italian descent and from Argentina. All this should contribute to foster an atmosphere of friendship with the Pope.

    4. You should know something about Father Davide Pagliarani that his mother told me which will help you to understand his character. Until they retired, Fr Davide’s parents owned and managed a hotel in Rimini, the city where they live. Rimini is a famous tourist destination in Italy because it is by the sea.

    5. The parents used to receive many priests in their hotel, and even the bishop, who would come and eat at the occasion of an important event like the First Holy Communions or a major Feast Day. One day, for lunch, a long table had been prepared for a group of priests. Little Davide was 6 years old at that time and was coming in and out of the kitchen to help his parents with the service.

    6. The priests were having a good time and Davide could hear their conversations. It was the day of the feast of the Holy Trinity. All of a sudden one priest asked another:
-“Do you believe in the Holy Trinity?”
-“Of course not’, the other replied, “It is good for children to believe that.”
Another priest talked likewise and said he did not believe in it either. Eventually, all the priests admitted not to believe in the Holy Trinity.

    7. Little Davide drew close to the table and shouted at the priests:
-“What you say is very bad, shame on you!”
The priests were a bit embarrassed for being rebuked by a little boy. That child had the faith, those priests did not. And it was in Italy, 41 years ago. No wonder why the churches are empty there now.

    8. Fr Davide has not changed, he is still like the little boy of 6 he was. He will tolerate no nonsense and will always have at heart the defence of the Catholic Faith without which it is impossible to please God and make our eternal salvation.
    Amen

For priests to not believe in the Holy Trinity there is nothing of goodness in htat.

    Water is wet, genius.

Without the Holy Trinity, Catholicism is not the True Faith because there is no Catholicism without the Trinity. It is the fundamental basis of all we believe.
