See I am not so obstinate that I can't learn.  I am definitely a very slow learner.

My parents have a 9 year gap, my mother said she married my father because he was handsome. Age gap is cope, older women and younger can't compete so they attack the age gap, in reality if you are handsome your age does not matter. Aging generally makes someone less attractive so there's that.

It's quite brutal how much women actually care about looks but then gaslight about personality and other stuff.

For good reason did the South Americans have their daughters coming of age ceremony at 15, during which the women is presented with multiple suitors to pick from. This is excellent. It allows the women to get married in her prime and still pick a man she likes. Nowadays the women are told to waste their prime and they have way too many options (except those options will NEVER commit).

Has anyone thought of getting married later in life, maybe in their 40’s, and see what what happens?  There’s also adoption and that takes maturity beyond that of most younger people, especially if the child is not a newborn.
It’s not a plan that’s going to save humanity, but it may work on the individual level.

This has to be one of the most offensive threads I've ever read on Cathinfo.  I am surprised Matthew allows it.  It makes trads look like perverts.

I got an account after being a longtime lurker, because I had time while recovering from surgery.

I have been treated rudely, with contempt, called names, and all sorts of things.  If you lot are the best of the trad world, the world is in trouble. You are by far, THE most uncharitable people I've ever come across.

Adios.  I'm done here.
