    A quick google search is all it takes. I think it's trolling because he exaggerates men getting married at 70-80.     First of all... a "google search" of what exactly??? Its really unclear.

    60 years ago in most part of the world the average family size was 6-8. Now its 2. So attitudes change. They have changed on age gaps and will change back to them. So what most women think they want will change. This is just an attempt by jealous single late 20s and upwards women to deny their younger counterparts the opportunity to get married.

    I never said that it would be the norm for men to marry at 70-80, but dont forget there are men who have built up assets and there are plenty of women out there who would see an opportunity there. They just wont talk about it to other women in that way. So I think this is where you are just plain stupid.

    Women have a tendency to talk about everything.  Do you really believe that a women who is thinking of finding a 70 year old man with assets wouldn't seek approval from her girlfriends first?  Most women will not sacrifice there female friendships to marry someone her friends disapprove of.

    That's why I posted the thing earlier about woman's consensus. Frankly these women are dragging each other down because of their faux friendships.

    Getting reject over and over again does effect men, and no getting rejected until 70 can across as trolling. If he failed when he was young why would he succeed when he is old and far less attractive and physically capable? As if a woman in her teens or early 20s wants to marry a 70yr old man! Young girls can easily pick a man in there teens, 20s and 30s, a 70yr man getting married to a young lady has few examples in scripture, not that it didn't happen, just that it's extremely rare and unlikely to happen.

    I would most certainly try to dissuade a friend who is a young woman from marrying a 70 year old man, but then I’m not friends with gold diggers so thankfully I’ll likely never need to. There would be no other reason to marry an old man other than financial security. 
    Seriously though, WHY are 70 and 80 year old men even on the table for young child bearing women? Are we really entertaining this?  He could die any day and leave his children fatherless and his poor wife up the creek. We are aiming at heaven, right? Children need a father.

    The amount of women who are willing to throw their friends totally under the bridge is unblievable!

    Women know marriage is their whole life and security.

    A woman who is going to be swayed by her friends in such a fickle way is a weak woman, and not a woman of character.

    I agree its rare. But it should not be discouraged.

    It is quite ridiculous to claim that men aren't affected by rejection (they are) and that a man will be fine by 70 if he is constantly rejected, or that he may find a young wife to give him children at that age (an older woman won't be fertile enough).

    Modern people are already brainwashed against even small age gaps, so a 70yr old and a 30yr old is already going to require a miracle let alone at 20yr old.

    What kind of society do you think we will be living in 40 years from now? A different one. So the 20 or 30 year old guys might find it difficult among the whores to find someone, but among the more traditional women it will be easier. I see attitudes already changing back to what they used to be. 

    You argument is coming from a snapshot in time and culture and region.

    Even now, a 70 year old man could find a woman in south east asia.

    I know one early forties  man who had no problem talking to a 16 year old in the phillipines online. Traditional Mass and all. And that was recently.

    If you let yourself get bogged down by what other people think, you will have a lot of difficulty finding a spouse. 
    Especially if those opinions come from backbiting, autistic trads.
