:jester:  Says the woman who constantly complains that people don't treat women compassionately enough, on internet forums.
If you don't show who you are you are just a ghost with no gender  And really how disrespectful have I actually been?  I think at this point your just having fun trolling.   And my pride keeps me engaged with this.  At some point one of us has to quit first.

You've got it backwards, as normal.  The Church sets the minimum ages for marriage.  All else is up to the parties involved.

The whole idea that men/women should be similar in age is modernist.  And it's not historical, nor economical.
I am not sure what you mean by I got it backwards.  I said something about age gaps and you said something about similar ages.

This will be my last post on this thread.  Prayers for all.

Men don’t go out of their way to be inconsiderate of women online; it’s the very nature of the internet to be cold and factual.  Your quest to make the internet a caring, safe/space will always end in you being unfulfilled.  It’s an impossibility.

But when you say YOU wont be respectful to men online, that’s YOU making a predetermined decision to be disrespectful.

Men are unintentionally inconsiderate but you are intentionally disrespectful.  That’s a YOU problem.  Don’t blame the internet for your bad attitude.

So each man is an island, so there is no need for bosses, spiritual leaders, and political leaders for men?  OK I got it.  :cowboy:

I am getting the feeling that there is a big disconnect from what my words say and what the men think I say.  I obey who I need to obey, you no longer have to act like my fathers ( I think I have like 3 here) ::)

Can someone post for me my exact quote that said women don't have to obey men, I believe I have never said that.  I will show respect to men, but again not in the anonymous forum where your gender is not even stated.  Context matters.

This thread is on age gaps.  I think we have determined that age gaps were acceptable by the Church, that women as young as 13 were ready for marriage (in a time gone by) that legally now that age is 18 in many countries.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marriageable_age

7 years is the ideal age gap.

The Victorian's had a sliding scale of half your age plus 7 years.

The only way to change any of the current thinking is for parents to teach their daughters better.

Did I miss anything?
Sorry I botched the anonymous box twice And gave up haha to say Christ is the head of man of course implies His Body. His church.

In response to this! 👇🏻

You are right nothing should be used to justify disobedience.  What is obedience anyway?  The women need to obey the men and who do the men need to obey?  Trump?  Their boss? Pope Leo XIV?  Bishop Sanborn? Bishop Zendejas? Their parents?
