LA Dodgers win Game 6 -- Game 7 World Series Tomorrow!!

    • The  game is on too late - regardless of the teams being in those time zones. When I was a kid in the 60s, they put the game on at a reasonable hour - heck, in school, they stopped teaching, combined classes and rolled the TV into the classrooms for the kids to watch the game until the bell rang to go home.

    If I watch it at all, I can hardly make it to the second or third inning what with the pitcher taking forever between pitches, the batter taking forever doing his in-between bats gyrations - and all the stupid commercials, it's way too dragged out anymore. A great big yawn.

    Don't be a crotchety old idiot.  The main market for these games is the home towns of the two teams.  Being that Los Angeles is playing, they can't put the game on too early, or else no one in LA will be able to watch.  Drink a cup of coffee and stay up past 8:30 for a change, or stop complaining.

    • Meh, I agree that the game is too commercialized anymore and on too late. A big yawn about sums it up.

    • My husband and I remember the nuns letting us listen to the world series in school also; but it was on the radio.

    The Brooklyn Dodgers won against the New York Yankees in the 7th game in the 1950's.

    I hope tonight's game is as exciting as Sunday's was.
