I doubt Gene Roddenberry changed much -- so the first seasons of Star Trek TNG were probably about the same level of "globohomo".

However, you can see in later seasons new themes like "our warp driving is destroying the planet universe. Better put a "speed limit" on warp drive -- control human behavior to save the natural world as it were (climate change CO2 emissions?)

Also you had a heavier hand with the transgender, mixed race couples, and other progressive issues.

Star Trek has always been progressive; but I think it's gotten worse, along with the Democrat Party itself. And just like politics in general, it went off a cliff around 2016 (or maybe a bit earlier). However bad it was in the 60's or 90's -- that's nothing compared to the latest Woke nonsense in series like Star Trek Discovery or Star Trek: Picard. Long-time Star Trek fans gag when you mention those shows...
