Hiring freezes in the tech sphere with layoffs that will be ramping up. Job postings are much slimmer than they were 6 months ago in my field. What is it like in your companies / industry?

All signs for the coming financial collapse. Prepare yourselves

Definitely no layoffs here in healthcare, but we have been seeing some hiring freezes due to budgetary deficits.

Government (including law enforcement) and healthcare will be the last job fields standing ... until they decide that the REST of economy collapsing means that "society" can no longer afford health care, and health care becomes transformed into euthanasia services.  That would leave "government" jobs ... along with the remaining "useless" people (according to Jєωval Harari) who will own nothing but be happy as they're (initially) kept entertained (anesthetized) with drugs, entertainment (sports, music, movies, monster truck rallies, NASCAR), and pornography, who will be kept around just long enough to lose their souls for eternity and then be promptly liquidated.

Universal Basic Income (UBI) and Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) are coming. Take your shots, get your cash card and do what the government tells you. No job required.

Everything gets to the consumer via truck, everything. When the transportation industry goes down, we're done.
