  • Does Jesus judge people at the end of their lives?

    yes and no

Jesus said that HIS WORDs will judge a person

That is what is so dangerous about protestants and some catholics focusing on "relationship with Jesus" rather than doing what the heck he said to do

I mean, when you are in a relationship, you have your own perceptions of what that relationship is about and etc... But there is no doubt about the words Jesus said, which words will be your judge

  • When you have an authentic relation with Jesus then you will do as He said.

yes, but we are subjective creatures and many of us THINK we have a perfect relationship w/ Jesus but some do not in reality
i mosly speak of protestants who think they are saved regardless of their odius sins

  • If you seek truth with no regard for what toys you will lose, you will find it. The problem is that people do not want to let go of their toys, there sins, their worldly loves. God provides everything you will need ("without Me you can do nothing"), all we have to do is accept. When we die, we will see that all we did to reach salvation was to maybe inclined 1/1,000,000 of 1 degree in the direction of God and he provided all the rest.

    1) The first step is continuous confession with a valid priest.

St. Francis said that as God is the Light, as we come closer to him, it is as if we bring a light closer and closer to us. When we look at ourselves in the mirror, the less light we have, the less imperfections we see, the more perfect we think we are. As we add (receive) more light, we begin to see more and more of our imperfections, wrinkles, scars, pimples, blackheads, pores. We are blind as to what we really are. When St. Francis died, he was convinced that he deserved Hell, and entrusted himself to God’s Mercy. He knew that he was not clean. ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI

For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. Mat 24:24

  • Johnnie and His Little White Rabbit

"The father of the house came home and called all his children together. He then told them if they gathered up all of their toys, every single last one of them, and gave them away to the poor, that he would then buy them new toys, much more toys, and better toys. However, they had to give away every single toy or else they would not get anything.

The next day the father came home and found a big pile of toys stacked in the living room. He asked the children; is that all the toys, every single last one of them? All the children answered yes, but Johnnie. Johnnie was holding his hands behind his back. His father asked him, Johnnie, did you put all your toys in the pile? Johnnie answered yes, father. The father asked him, Johnnie, what do you have behind your back, show me your hands. Then Johnnie showed his little white stuffed rabbit, his favorite companion. His father said, Johnnie, remember, in order to get  the new toys, much more toys than you have now, better toys, you have to give everything away, everything Johnnie. Johnnie answered back, no Daddy, not my little white rabbit, no, I can’t give him away".

(The father is Our Lord Jesus Christ, the toys are man’s earthly attachments which cause them to never receive sanctifying grace or to lose it. The new gifts are sanctifying grace and ultimately eternal bliss in Heaven)

only problem w/ this analogy: we are FAR from little children.. and our toys are far from being stuffed rabbits. But yeh... this reminds me of how I was inwardly complaining about a loss I had to suffer (I chose to suffer the loss, but then complained or started to anyway.. So human, eh?). I say started to b/c I told myelf a DUH thing.. namely that God is quite capable of replacing whatever... Now, whether He will or not is another story... sigh.. :(

But still... Look at all that Jesus lost and all the misery He went through. God wants us to have a share in His Cross... We could never relate to Jesus, much love him half as much as He deserves if we did not have a share in his sufferings

so if we have confession with a priest who is not valid does that mean you are not really, sacramentally forgiven?
