One calculator is for the veterinary products: 1.87% equine paste and 1% veterinary injectable solution, only one of which is taken orally mixed in a beverage.

The other calculator is for the pills intended for oral use by humans.

Instructions:
1. Open the Excel file
2. Type your weight in pounds in box B2
3. click Enter.
4. Then read your dose of pills, paste, or solution in the appropriate box. 
5. Check your results BEFORE taking the dose.
6. Does the dose pass the "common sense test"? (If your calculated dose is more than 1-3 pills or more than 1-3cc of solution or paste, it is probably incorrect or your weight really a lot more than the average person.)
7. If your dose is reasonable take it. If the dose is dubious, do not take it. Get help from someone who knows what they are doing.

Thanks for this.  Those vertinary paste products (horse paste) actually have a little "clicker" mechanism built in where you push out one click per 50 pounds of body weight.

 
Yes, but be aware that the dosing standard for the horse paste is for the human "prophylactic" dose, not for the "I-already-have symptoms" human dose.

If you are in a higher risk category (high BMI, pre-existing conditions) and you already have symptoms, you need to take 3X the "prophylactic" dose. So my 250lb, elderly female friend took enough horse paste for a 750lb horse each day for 5 days straight. No side effects. She got better in about 3 days.

Well, that's more about the frequency at which you'd take it.   I've heard that the prophylactic dose would be about one a week vs. one per day if you strart showing symptoms.

Help me dose Ivermectin. I think a colleague at work got a booster, people are getting sick. I got 3 horse tube applicators but I'm unsure how to use them and I'm unfortunately unable to find info online. Is each "notch" a 50 pound increment? Or how does this work? Not taking a dose till I get feedback.
