You spelled your own domain incorrectly.

The answer is the answer of another question: Has Rome canonized him?

He is not (as yet) a recognised saint of the Catholic Church. That may happen when the Catholic Church is cleansed of Modernism. Then again it may not for if he were made a saint for what he did (save the Tridentine Latin Mass and traditionalism in his priests) that would seem to contradict the Modernist popes who were made saints by their fellow Modernist popes who gave Lefevbre and his society of priests hell on earth. Now what pope would preside over such a contradiction?

  • What about the cause?  Who will take up the cause?

    SaintMarcelLefebvre.com

I hope people can give testimonials as to how important the Archbishops life was in their own life.  We know Rome has not Canonized him, but that would be the goal!

Seemingly contradicting things shouldn't stop us from trying.  I know that the whole process was not easy, but the Archbishop did assist in a large part, from what I know, to preserve the Extraordinary Form of Mass.  We have Pope Saint John Paul II Canonized, and His Holiness Blessed Paul VI.  The question is was his work good?

With all due respect, Montini was none of those things. But yes, absolutely, Marcel Lefebvre should be made a saint.

  • Being as Rome hasn't canonized him yet, no he's not a canonized saint.

But that doesn't mean he didn't go straight to heaven when he died.

He did die on the feast of the Annunciation, March 25th, which is specifically THE day of the priesthood -- when the Eternal Priest took flesh.

What is a priest? A bridge builder, a pontifex. A link between God and Man.

Was Jesus Christ a priest before He took flesh? I could be wrong, but I think the answer is "no".

Jesus was essentially Priest when He, in His own person, had both Divine and Human natures. He is Priesthood itself. He was the perfect priest, and in fact all priests partake of His priesthood.

What was the aim of the SSPX? To properly form priests according to the pre-Vatican 2 way. The SSPX wasn't a "trad organization" it was a priestly fraternity.

Here's the proof: In the early years, the SSPX didn't even keep the priests they formed -- the priests were incardinated into various dioceses.

So what WAS the SSPX essentially? An organization to preserve the true spirit of the priesthood.
They later became the lead organization defending Tradition, because the priesthood depends on the Faith/Tradition. But that came later.

So the founder of that organization dying on one of the 2 greatest "priestly" feast days (the other being Holy Thursday, which date changes every year) is more than just a coincidence.

I believe it's a classic example of he who has ears to hear, let him hear. God is trying to tell us something: that +ABL was on the right path. And that he was a saint.

If we use this type of expression we are defeating our own purpose. There was no such thing as the Extraordinary Form of Mass, and I think he would have blown it out of the water if it had come up in his time. Let us always use correct terminology. There was no  Extraordinary Form of Mass and we should never use such language. He defended the true Mass not the "Extraordinary Form".
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

    what the heck???

of course Jesus was a priest. He is called our High Priest (in the  Word)

If we are all "priest, prophet and king" .. all who are baptized (properly) then Jesus is all the more
