  • If it's not a Masonic handshake, it is identical to it. I asked a Freemason friend of mine if being photographed exchanging the Masonic handshake means the person is a Mason, and he smiled and said that people who have experienced the same think shared a common link. I don't know that that means, but the fact that Bishop Fellay let this picture go on the Society web-site seems pretty incriminating. Is Bishop Fellay a Mason? Unless he "comes out" we'll never know for sure, and he probably would not do that, I am thinking. Even if he is a Mason, though, I like the guy. I hope he doesn't go Novus Ordo and abandon the traditional Catholics; it's nice having him up there giving traditional speeches.

  • Irresponsible to make such insinuations on the mere basis of a limp handshake to an elderly pope, but since you made it, I would be more concerned about the bishop’s doctrine as evidence for your suspicions than the form of the handshake.
