I have to agree with Matthew. I can’t think of a single person I’d just, “invite” to Mass, if I even had one. Unbelieving relatives are fallen away Catholics, or rather, baptized Catholics as babies out of pressure from parents or grandparents or because it was a nice tradition and excuse for a welcome party to meet the new baby. These people were not raised Catholic and have no interest in anything religious. Most, in fact, have believed the lies and despise religion, those who are religious, and in particular, the Catholic religion, thanks to all the perverts and pedophiles. My former co-workers were all Protestants of one kind or other. Most had no use for the Catholic Church, in fact, would be more apt to attend services of non-Christian religions than Catholic. As for friends, I have really only one, and because she lives over 1000 miles away, I can’t visit. Besides, she’s already Catholic, and a much holier Catholic than I’ll ever hope to be! At present, I have no neighbors, unless you count the lady three miles down the road. I’ve met her a few times and I think she might be gαy. She’s very masculine in her dress and demeanor. She’s pretty much a stranger who expressed no interest in getting to know me. She could have invited me inside, but thus far, our only encounters have been at the mailboxes. At my other “home” the people are elderly and disabled, don’t travel, or are Buddhists! IOW, I’m not close enough to anyone to even invite them to my home, much less to Mass, that I don’t have. I could bring my dogs and a cat, but, well, that’s ridiculous.
