Quote
“To Catholics today, the Society offers uncompromising truth, which is served unconditionally, with the means of living by it with integrity, for the salvation of souls and the service of the whole Church.”
Makes me feel sick

Yes, indeed, it is hard to stomach.

    5. What is the greatest danger that traditional Catholics face today? In what are they most vulnerable?

    Fr Pagliarani's answer:

    - the menace of the worldly spirit
    - the danger of relaxation
    - the danger to live in intellectual comfort of someone who knows he is right, disdaining those who are wrong...

    Archbishop Lefebvre's answer:

That is why what can look like a concession is in reality merely a maneuver to separate us from the largest number of faithful possible. This is the perspective in which they seem to be always giving a little more and even going very far. We must absolutely convince our faithful that it is no more than a maneuver, that it is dangerous to put oneself into the hands of the conciliar bishops and Modernist Rome. It is the greatest danger threatening our people. If we have struggled for twenty years to avoid the conciliar errors, it was not in order, now, to put ourselves into the hands of those professing these errors. (Archbishop Lefebvre, Interview, Fideliter, 1989)

For the neo-SSPX no such danger exists, certainly don't try to convince our faithful of any such thing, don't even mention it, unless it is to convince them that "Pope Francis likes us", "it cannot be a trap", "it can only be friends wanting to do us good, wanting the spread of Tradition in the Church"...

Keyword. Baptism of desire / salvation outside the church *by* the church or in ignorance without baptism... Or non-catholics are secretly members of the church because they have the soul of the church

  • There are words that need to be defined every single time someone uses them. One of them is "Church", another is "Christian" and while we're on the subject, the words "Jew" and "antismemite" always need to be defined.
