Do you think Bishop Fellay is an infiltrator?

That is an interesting question. I would say that is indeed a possibility; however, I am guessing that he is the "useful idiot" in this well orchestrated intrigue. I'm wondering if Fr. Schmidberger , working in concert with a few more (unknown to me), is the initial successful infiltrator.

It is possible Bp.F was an infiltrator from the start, shortly before the 1988 consecrations, OR, that he thereafter lost the faith and fell to becoming a mole, OR that he was gullible, taken-in, and is now in so deep that the only way out is via death. IMO, the latter is the most likely. While we must join forces to fight against him as an enemy, we must also take seriously Our Lord's command to "Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you." St. Mt. 5:44

It is more likely he was manipulated. If he was an infiltrator he would have done a much better job of destroying the SSPX.

I think there are infiltrator operatives on Catholic Info who act sympathetic
to the SSPX-SO and are working to collect information for the Bp. Fellay's network of "stoolie" priests.

While I certainly concede it's very likely that they collect information as they love snooping and manipulation, what evidence is there that leads you to believe the informers are posters on this forum?
