  • This is bad advice.  It's not the priest's job to be fashion police.

Public shaming should come back.  It's the only thing that works on women.  You see a women dressed inappropriately, you say something like "Wow, didn't know you could dress like that a church."

It's not about being mean, it's about correcting bad behavior.  It works.  That's how society used to operate.
One family member's daughter (I'll call her Jane) was asked by a member of the chapels resident liberal family (I'll call her Sally) why she never played with them.  Jane's reply: "because you don't dress modestly."  Sally's mother went berserk.  Jane's mother responded simply, "from the mouths of babes."

  • People who dress inappropriately (and who should know better) need to be shamed.

This does not include newcomers to Tradition.  The OP was not talking about newcomers but established laity who should know better.
    Agreed.

  • You're changing the topic, which is not about a random visitor who dresses immodestly.  The topic is young ladies who are part of the chapel and who dress wrongly.
This happens all too frequently on Cathinfo.

  • Our usher team has turned away a handful of newcomers who thought our church was novus ordo and were not dressed correctly.  It was done politely and they were invited to return.

For people who are dressed nicely but have short skirts or wear modest pants, they sit in the choir loft where their presence won't be a distraction.

For all newcomers, they are not allowed to receive communion, unless they are Trads.

These are our priests' rules and the ushers enforce them.
    Terrible.

  •  As it is, trad chapels are cults and should stay that way.
And this is why members are on the FBI lists.

  • Many years ago there was a thread similar to this one (nothing new under the sun) and a fellow posted that he wanted a girl who looked like Britney Spears but had the heart of St. Theresa.  He said if she wasn't hot he couldn't father children.:jester:
Probably the result of too much porn.

  • If a woman is dressed immodestly for Mass, do this  and  before doing this. :fryingpan:.
If it’s a regular problem, speak with the :incense:. Let him find the appropriate person and setting to make the correction.
If it is a visitor, unless it is particularly egregious, do this  and keep your 👅 shut. Keep your 🧠 on ✝️🛐.

  • In some chapels I've been to, there was an elderly women nicely lending some kind of scarf (sorry if it's called something else!) for such girls to cover their shoulders. Nicely handled.
    I call B.S.
    Those elderly women are busy-bodies.
There is a difference between visitors and regular attendees.

  • Fully modest garb is given at the door. aEach one gets a floor length loose fitting poncho. Women have an attached hood. Gloves that cover the wrists are worn by all. Women and men wear large masks that cover the mouth, nose, cheek bones, chin.
Those not wearing this uniform may watch Mass in Zoom.
    Problem solved.

I'm going to hurt my head if I face-palm this to the extent that it needs to be face-palmed. I better stop while my forehead is still convex in its structure.
