The usual remedies of prayer, penance and perseverance in one's duties .
Yes, thank you, I meant does Fr. Lagrange help you know by what signs you are demonically obsessed? Or is it more something one will never be sure of, and we just implement the remedies to be safe?

Thank you very much. May God reward you for your kindness.
I have finally had time to read through the 10 pages of this thread since everyone except me is still sleeping. 😅

I know several traditional Catholic families in a similar situation as you and your husband excepting the infertility (that is definitely concerning and I think Mithrandylan gave some great advice).

There definitely seems to bw a spiritual struggle going on and it is very likely that nutritional deficiency is making is worse.

When I was first married we ate as cheaply as possible.  My husband has always had a sensitive gut especially after being in the military.  He had mononucleosis about a year and a half ago and then the severe headaches and other health issues hit majorly hard.  I initiated a major diet change in our house.  No carbs were allowed expect ones we made ourselves (exceptions for when on vacation and visiting family but basically trying to create a good baseline).  Some of the ladies here recommended B Vitamins for helping with nerve and headache issues but I couldn't get my husband to take them much.

So I did a lot of research and asked family members and friends who are in the medical field for help as to how to get him more nutrients without him having to take supplements.  Freshly ground whole grain bread was the major answer to our problem.

I make fresh homeground sourdough spelt bread, rolls, pizza or something of the sort just about every day.  The change took about a month to build up the nutrient loss but it has made SUCH a big difference for my husband.

Whole grains contain just about every nutrient you need except Vitamin A, Vitamin B-12 (found in meat and whole raw milk), Vitamin C, and Vitamin D.

Many different health issues have been resolved in our family since we started introducing freshly ground whole grain breads into our diet.  To list a few: gut issues, constipation, lack of energy,, headaches, depression.

It is a lot of work and takes time but SO worth the effort!  Most bread you find in the store these days is poison or at least nutritionless...

My last post was getting very long and I wanted to post it before I lost it (sometimes that happens if I take too long to post).

I wanted to add some other things that have really helped my husband with headaches and which might help yours.

1.  Lavendar Essential Oil (but with your husband having testosterone issues this might not be good idea from what I have heard)

2. Magnesium Oil (rubbed on the head)

3.  Pressure Point Head Massages (this can literally help a splitting headache in a matter of minutes)

4. Neck, shoulder and back massages (especially since your husband works with construction vehicles he probably is quite sore when he comes home)

5.  A hot tottie or fresh pressed lemonade (lemon always helps exhaustion and depression).  The hot tottie version is hot lemon, honey and a little bit of strong alcohol added for relaxation effect.  It can also help with sleep troubles and knock out a cold.

Well, people are waking up and I must go but you are in my thoughts and prayers and if you want any tips about bread making or anything please let me know.

May God bless you!

You should also be aware of anemia. Being low in iron can cause mood trouble, depression, brain fog, irritability, anger, intolerance of small annoyances. A simple blood test can rule anemia in or out.  Avoid or eliminate caffeine consumption as it can deplete the body of iron. Potassium, magnesium, zinc, and vitamin C play a role in metabolizing iron.
A number of years ago, I realized I was slowly becoming more and more fatigued. A simple blood test revealed I was anemic, just below the low level of normal. My potassium was at the lowest level of normal. I added meat and green, leafy vegetables to my diet for more iron, and dried apricots and sweet potatoes for potassium. Over a month’s time, I was feeling better, not running out of energy by lunchtime and no longer downing coffee or other caffeine to keep going until 3:30.
Having a tendency to scrupulosity, I was blaming the problem on spiritual sloth. I decided to pray another Rosary every afternoon.  I usually fell asleep in the middle of it. There’s nothing wrong with extra prayers, but falling asleep in the middle of them isn’t of much use. My problem was not sloth, rather, I’d been eating poorly because I was living in a rented room without access to a kitchen. My solution was to purchase a very small microwave and an electric kettle so I could heat and boil foods instead of getting take-out.

I am very grateful for both of your messages and for taking the time to write these, it is very charitable of you! I also appreciate your prayers, please be assured of mine for you and your family in return for this kindness.

We were able to find a local bakery that does freshly milled 100% whole grain sourdough. There is no white flour in it, it was 24 hour fermented, and an organic ancient grain. We both enjoyed. However, it left my husband in agony, and I cannot tolerate fibre whatsoever. However, I am happy to hear it works for your family, I have heard it works for a lot of people.

Raw egg yolks is where we get our B vitamins, it is the only thing that will absorb for us. My husband is willing and has taken vitamins, they do not touch him unless whole food based.
